EN57KM – a modernised version of one of the most popular EMUs in Poland. The vehicle was manufactured at the State Wagon Factory Pafawag and its modernisation was carried out at ZNTK Mińsk Mazowiecki Sp. z o.o. During the modernisation, the front of the train was changed and an ergonomic driver’s cab was implemented. Changes were also made in the passenger compartment. The seats were replaced with seats in the colours of the Silesian Railway, and a closed-circuit toilet cubicle was installed.

The Silesian Railway has 2 EMUs of the EN57KM type, which were introduced into service in October 2011. The vehicle consists of 2 outermost control segments and a central motorised segment. The maximum speed of the vehicles is 110 km/h. The vehicle is suitable for transporting people with disabilities. There is a wheelchair ramp in the control segment. Inside the vehicle, there are separate spaces for wheelchairs and bicycles.
