336WEa ‘Impuls’ – a standard-gauge electric multiple unit designed for urban agglomeration and interregional passenger services. The manufacturer of the vehicles is NEWAG SA from Nowy Sącz. The first 3 vehicles were delivered to the Silesian Province as part of the Southern Purchasing Group order in 2014.

36WEa vehicles with the numbers 008, 009 and 010 were put into service in October 2014. Three more units, numbered 023, 024 and 025, joined the Silesian Railway fleet in mid-December 2021. They consist of three segments supported on two biaxial motorised bogies and two Jacobs-type trailer bogies.

The vehicles are characterised by air-conditioned, single-space and compartmentless interiors, providing a high level of travel comfort, as well as an extensive passenger information system.
