Graduate of the Warsaw University of Technology and the University of Łódź. He has been involved with the rail industry for many years. He was a member of the Management Boards of the Łódź Agglomeration Railway (2013-2019) and held managerial and director positions at the Łódź Regional Transport Company (1981-2013).

On 1 November 2022, he took on the role of Deputy President of the Management Board for Technical Affairs. He has worked at Koleje Śląskie since July 2021 as the Director of the Transport Planning and Execution Office and Director of the Train Crew Office.

Long-time certified analyst, auditor and manager of Safety Management Systems in rail transport. Winner of industry awards and accolades (including for railway safety culture and the introduction of systemic improvements for passengers with special needs).
